Places to take photos in Dallas, Fort Worth Area

Here is the information about picking up location for photography:

Think about how your home or future home will be decorated. Are you funky and a little wild, or more traditional. If the décor in your home is more traditional, rustic or full of vintage pieces, Deep Ellum is probably not going to be a good fit for example. The goal is to get some gorgeous canvases of your Dallas Fort Worth engagement or family photos and put them up on the walls in your home. Deep Ellum is not going to make sense in this case and vice versa for a more modern home. Places with intricate architecture and traditional lines such as a college campus may not make the most sense if your home is all about clean lines and crisp décor. . You also want your images to be timeless so you can display them for years to come.

Pick places that are meaningful to you. If you grew up in Fort Worth , it makes a lot more sense to do your pictures in Dallas Fort Worth instead of Dallas. Other options include going to the places where you first met, had a great first date or even the place that he proposed to you! Often times, the venue you’ve chosen to have your wedding at will allow engagement pictures and bridal pictures to be taken there at no additional charge. This actually works out perfect given the fact you picked your venue because you love it and it reflects your personal style.

A third option is to pick locations based on things you like to do together. I recently met with a bride and we discussed doing part of her session on a tennis court because her and her fiancé are very athletic and love to play sports together. I personally LOVE this particular idea! Now if the weather would cooperate we can get her session done! Brrrrr!
